Aetna Dentist Hackensack

Save Substantially on Caring for Your Smile

Do you find dental insurance somewhat confusing? It doesn’t have to be! Unfortunately, many can take their coverage for granted or not realize how to use their employee benefits properly. Our patients at Anderson Dental Center find a group of Aetna dentists and a team of experienced professionals who can help navigate insurance and get the most value out of benefit money!

Learn More About the Benefits of Aetna

Dental insurance is only cost effective if you know how to use it to your advantage. For example, Aetna pays for most or all of the cost of preventive care because it is cheaper than paying to fix a cavity or other problem later. As a result, you stand to spend significantly less on your smile if you capitalize on two dental checkups and cleanings per year. Our team at Anderson Dental Center can help you further utilize your benefits in a way that saves you money.

Aetna Coverage Availability & Fees

Even within the Aetna plans, there may be some variation in fees and coverage, but you can expect to see benefits that look something like the following:

  • 80 to 100 percent of the cost is covered for two checkups and cleanings per year.
  • 70 to 80 percent of the cost is covered for minor restorative services like fillings.
  • 50 percent of the cost is covered for major restorative services like crowns, dentures, and more.

In general, cosmetic or elective treatment is not included in benefits, which means you’ll pay for it without the help of dental insurance. However, orthodontic procedures, even clear aligners, may be partially covered.
