All-Digital X-Rays

Dental X-rays enable us to look below the gum line where potential problems might be hidden from the naked eye, including decay, trauma, and even cancer. Rather than relying on slow film to capture these images, we instead rely on 100% digital X-rays. In addition to taking just a few seconds to develop, they also show much more detail than traditional X-rays, and the process emits up to 90% LESS radiation by comparison.

3D Cone Beam Imaging

When we need more information about a patient than what an X-ray can provide (such as when we’re planning dental implant placement), we like to use our 3D cone beam scanner. Instead of creating a single image of a few teeth, it generates a model of the entire mouth and nearby oral structures, showing us the thickness of the bone as well as the location of sensitive facial nerves. This gives us a better picture of someone’s dental anatomy and enables us to formulate extremely precise treatment plans that are fully personalized for each patient.
